3D Mark Vantage Scores

Hi all, Ive had my Alienware M15X for about 2 months now (Alienware M15X: i7 740QM, 6GB 1333 RAM, GTX 460M 1.5GB, OCZ Vertex 2E 240GB, Blu Ray Slot drive, 1920 x 1080 Display) I originally had the ATI 5850M installed as it was the best card at that time, Now I understand that the difference between the 1GB on the 5850M and the 1.5GB on the GTX 460M isnt where the real perfomance lies but rather the actual power of the card.
Without doing research and assuming you "get what you pay for" I upgraded my laptop to the GTX 460M.
I did look a few of the Comparison websites and the GTX 460M came out on top in pretty much all the 3d mark benches.

Anyway i decided to bench my GTX 460M and got the score:

3D Mark Score 7129
CPU Score 25642
GPU Score 5764

Having read the camparison websites I thought I should be scoring 7500~.
The 5850M was scoring around about the 5500 score but from reading what alot of you guys have scored im not really sure whats wrong?

I have the latest Dell drivers for the nvidia which are 259.64.
I have tried later ones and have been to the laptopvideo2go website trying to find new ones with no luck of actually been able to get them installed.

Any feedback on your guys 3D Mark Vantage scores and drivers would be great.
