Acer TimelineX 4820TG vs. Asus B43J

I'm looking to buy a 13-14'' notebook that should have:

- DVD drive
- Good performance (CPU is more important than GPU, Core i5 seems like a perfect fit)
- Good battery life (5+ hours)

A clear favorite is Acer TimelineX 4820TG but I don't like 2 things there: looks / build quality and the keyboard (flat keys, it's reported to have some flex etc.)

So I looked further and there isn't much competition there - for most notebooks to achieve good times on battery they need to have only integrated graphics card.
Then I stumbled upon Asus B43J which seems pretty similar in specs to TimelineX (in the Czech Republic where I live there is a model with reasonable combination of Core i5 and 4GB RAM) but has the following features that are interesting to me:

- matte display
- solid build (not so many plastic parts as on Acer)
- switchable graphics with Eyefinity (supposed ability to connect up to 3 monitors although I can't imagine via which ports
- business features like TPM, fingerprint reader etc.

What I don't like about Asus is that it weights 0.25kg more and it lasts less on battery (which I don't quite understand - this model is supposed to have the next gen "Sonata" battery with 3yr warranty and better duration).

What do you think? How would you compare those 2 laptops?
